I warmly invite you to join me for this series of yoga inspired maternity coaching workshops.
Having a child is one of the most defining moments in your life. Your body is changing, and with it, your mindset is shifting, too. You give birth, and from that moment, your whole life has made a transition.
Whether you are anticipating the birth of your first baby or have experienced maternity leave before, the opportunity you have to manage this change in your personal and working life effectively can have a significant positive impact on your experience and on your return to work.
During this series of six monthly workshops, you will develop your own fresh perspective on the life you envision for yourself as a mother. Each month we will cover a theme to really delve into what matters most to you in your pregnancy and beyond.Book Now
Topics we will be exploring....
- What is most important to you?
- Which other roles do you fulfil, for example as a partner, daughter, friend or in your career?
- Which changes will you experience in your life and how can you handle them?
- How do you manage not to forget taking care of yourself?
- What do you wish for or expect from your partner and how can you make that happen?
These workshops are a supportive space for women to gather together either pre or postnatal and welcome the changes ahead through the practices of gentle yoga, meditation and coaching group work. It is my aim to give women the tools and inspiration to transition into motherhood smoothly and joyfully.
This workshop includes, gentle yoga to move and invigorate the body, no experience of yoga is necessary. We will practice meditation in the form of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a form of ‘light dreaming’ where clarity, illumination, understanding issues, guidance, or insight can unfold. This type of meditation allows us to rest in the Alpha and Theta brain wave states. These brain wave states are the frequencies of creativity, intuition and healing, enabling a space to ‘shed light’ on any situation through inspiration and deeper reflection.
Workshop Venue, cost and dates:
These workshops cost £30 each. Payment in advance will secure your place. Places are limited on these workshops to keep its special. There is a discount if you would like to attend all 6. A package of 6 costs £150.
The workshops are held at the light and airy space at the Unitarian Meeting House on Churchgate street in Bury St.Edmunds. Yoga mats and props are provided and refreshments included. You will need to wear clothes that are easy to move and stretch in and bring a blanket and pillow for the relaxation and meditation. Please bring a journal or a notepad.
This workshop is open to ALL mums, pre natal and post natal. Babies are welcome up until crawling.
