A deeply nurturing form of yoga, restorative yoga postures help you learn to relax and rest deeply & completely. I offer these sessions on a one to one basis. During a session poses are supported, passive and held over a long period to invoke during deep relaxation, which is very healing to the nervous system (including the brain) and organ systems of the body.
A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. I will include aromatherapy and massage tailored to suit you for the session to enhance your well being and mood.

What to expect
In a private yoga session, we will work together to develop a practice completely tailored to suit your needs and help you achieve your practice and health goals. Massage techniques and essential oils will be used as appropriate/ if desired.
