I warmly invite you to join me on the last Friday of each month where you can balance your life with a peaceful yoga practice and meditation
This soothing Friday evening session will help you make the transition from human doing to human being…
The classes include gentle asana, mantra and breath work followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation which includes a rotation of consciousness around the body.
Yoga Nidra is neither a technique, nor a practice, but just an effortless state of being. Literally translated Yoga Nidra means “yogic sleep”, in fact it not a sleep, but an awakening. Yoga Nidra is a healing and transformative practice of self study, concentration, withdrawal and meditation. Yoga Nidra gives you the opportunity to find your path to your true nature and develop an awareness of our interconnectedness with all of life. In this realisation suffering ceases and we find freedom in the midst of daily life. During each session we will prepare the body for meditation through breath work, mantra and gentle asana. Time is given to focus on our sankalpa, our heart felt wish which gives an aim and intention to the practice of Yoga Nidra.Book

What to expect
The class includes gentle asana (restorative yoga postures), mantra and breath work followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation which includes a rotation of consciousness around the body. During the mediation it is useful to view your body as a guest house where yoga nidra teaches you to invite in every imaginable guest for “tea and Conversation” Yoga Nidra creates a welcoming path where you can learn to meet, greet and welcome everything that life brings to your table. During this practice you are lying in savasana on yoga mats, fully supported with bolsters, cushions and blankets to enable a deeply relaxing experience. Specific meditative essential oils are included to infuse in the room, creating a deeply grounding synergistic experience when combined with the powerful practice of Yoga Nidra.
